With every new low I hit, it feels as if I enter uncharted territory, paths that have never been trodden before.

But the inconvenient truth is that they have.

Sometimes I read through my blog and am surprised at just how long I have been feeling as I have.

There is great value, methinks, in remembering from time to time that my thoughts are not new.

I treat this blog as an archive of my suffering.
