Kevin Needs a New Home
This handsome boy wandered to our house on January 26, 2024, and had no tags or identifying marks of any sort. He was taken to a vet to have his microchip read, which yielded little info.
He had a microchip, but it was not registered (and thus had no owner info). It did, however, indicate that his name was Kelvin and that he was adopted from the Animal Humane shelter in Española, New Mexico, in August of 2022, and that he was born in June of 2022. We somehow dropped the "L" and have been calling him Kevin.
We went to great lengths to try to find his home/owners, but no one came forward. We tried integrating him with our group (2 dogs & 2 cats), but we aren't able to get him and the cats to get along, so we are looking for a new home for him.

- We took him to the vet again for a checkup:
- Healthy as can be
- Received all vaccinations as he had no history of them aside from when he was originally adopted in 2022
Good Boy
- Potty trained
- Crate trained
- Loves toys
- Gets along well with other dogs, large & small
- Learned new tricks and commands easily
- Great with kids (does great with our 14-month old)
Not a Good Boy
- Escape Artist (can jump 5+ ft walls)
- A short, chain-link fence seems to have stopped him, but he jumped our 5ft cinder block wall.
- Chases cats
- Doesn't seem to be aggressive toward them, more unfamiliar and tries to chase them.
