Minimalist blog for random writing / Rushd Bitar

June 06, 2020 — ~rushd

I'm a minimalist person. When it comes to looks, features, and other factors of a product, I always go for the performance and take into consideration the price. It took me a lot of time to change my old mobile phone to a smartphone, the prices of the smartphones were very high compared to what it gives you back. But when the necessity of remote work including emails, instant messaging, etc.. I had to make the change and I paid a fair price.

A lot of people think this is lame, and you just have to go with the flow of technological improvements. Well, I am. And technology is not what you think about. Technology is inexpensive, but when it falls into the hands of big capitalist companies, it turns to a cash cow.

Craziness and Compassion

May 27, 2020 — ~rushd

So what is craziness?

Why do we say, someone is crazy?

Assuming the person we are meeting is not truely having a mental illness. What makes us say this world to describe him/her?

Unproductivity Cycle

May 19, 2020 — ~rushd

We know that all of us have ups and downs cycle throughout the year. When you're down, even for several days, one day come to change this and fix it, even without you doing nothing to push for a more productive day.

But what if you're stuck in an unrpdoctive cycle? I'm having this problem during the COVID19 quarantine. Afer about 2 weeks of quarantine, I lost the count of days and hours. I also forgot what I was doing before the quarantine began, and I don't know how will I go back to my normal life after this pandemic.

It's because I don't want to blog with pictures, videos, and rich content, all I need is a simple text CMS tool so I can publish my random thoughts, Ideas, and writings.

The train that changed my life

May 11, 2020 — ~rushd
During my stay in Germany (2011-2012), I had to live in a far town from the college, and I had to make this daily trip from Langen to Darmstadt back and forth. I was mostly spending my moments in the quiet train looking out from the window. First day was fine, a week passed and that's fine. But after a while, I was very bored looking at the same scene over and over everyday. I also tried to change my seat to the other window just for a change!
