Welcome, I’m zampanò.

This space is focused more on projects, especially coding, that I’m working on (or, less likely, have actually finished). I’m still very much a novice when it comes to programming, so hopefully this will serve as a good way both to process what I’ve learned and to help others in a similar position. I also maintain a more traditional blog over on write.as.

Coding-wise, I mainly do front-end stuff, with occasional app development in Go. I’ve found that I’m typically more interested in the visuals and user experience side of things than the nitty-gritty of the code itself. My approach is minimalism, somewhat visually but especially with regards to the code itself. I avoid dependencies and outside libraries as much as I possibly can, and in particular I avoid npm like the plague.

Going forward, I hope to improve my abilities in both JavaScript and Go in general, and I’m also interested in some of the more unusual uses of web technologies such as three.js (a JavaScript library for doing fully-3D rendering) and Web Assembly.

I hope this blog is helpful, or at least interesting. Please feel free to drop me a line!
