We were at some kind of a lightning talk, and this dude got up on stage to give his talk but he was standing nowhere near the mic and the crowd had to keep telling him to speak into the mic. And he would be like, Oh shucks sorry. And he would go near the mic but then lean on the table next to the mic and continue to not speak into it.

Which is all to say that nobody had any idea what his talk was actually about.

But he had a huge round pen made of small wooden posts and loose wire. It was short, only a couple feet tall, but wide, maybe 30 yards diameter. And it was packed full of hundreds and hundreds of rabbits of all shapes and sizes.

Outside the pen were hundreds of dogs. And they charged the pen. The smallest ones wiggled in through the wire to get to the rabbits. The largest ones just stepped over then pen. There were not many large dogs. It was mostly small and medium dogs.

There wasn’t much we could do in the ensuing chaos. It was pretty brutal. Limbs and rib cages flying everywhere.
