a little wish rabbit

I found a cute little black and white speckled rabbit.

When I examined its inventory slots, I discovered that if I leveled it up it would enable me to cast the Wish spell once per day. That is an extraordinarily powerful spell that is so inaccessible that most people go their entire lives without ever seeing it cast, much less gain the ability to cast it themselves.

This rabbit is game breaking.

Its care and protection became one of my top priorities. I kept it hidden away on my person, or hidden away in my room all the time.

One day it accidentally got out of my room and started running around I panicked, Oh no! It’s going to escape! Or get hurt. Or somebody’s going to steal it!

But instead it just ran out into the main room and started playing with the chickens and small dogs, running around chasing and being chased and having a great time. It made me feel happy to watch it playing and having fun, and I grew to regret how I had kept it hidden away in isolation for so long. This wasn’t just an item or a resource to be exploited and guarded. It was an actual living creature with feelings and desires.

I resolved to provide it a more nurturing, enjoyable life from that moment on.
